Instant beverages and foods are playing a more and more important role. 

Coffee, malt, milk, tea or other formulations based instant products are produced from a liquid extract by spray or freeze drying. Before the final instantiation process, the product extract has to be concentrated. Valuable aroma fractions can be separated from the evaporation vapours for further improvement of the product.

Aroma and nutrition quality and stability during shelf-live are major consumer criteria for an instant product. Heat impact negatively influences taste, taste stability and the content of nutrition important components. Also the solubility of powder-instant products can be negatively influenced by excessive heat. Short heat retention times and low temperatures are therefore the key parameters to keep a good quality level.
